Tony Hawks Pro Skater 2 has skateboarders like Eric Koston, Rodney Mullen, and Ryan Sheckler. You can see them in the game’s character list. When you start playing, most of these characters are not available. You can make your character and change things like skin color, hair, and style. However, the techniques they can do are not that great because they have default settings.
This game is really immersive. Levels and statistics are important. When you complete a mission, you get experience points that help you upgrade your character later. The gameplay of Tony Hawks Pro Skater 2 is similar to that of the games. At first, you do tasks that teach you the basics of skateboarding and how to control your character. Then it gets harder. You have to do tricks with more accuracy. You get cash for doing, and you can use this cash to unlock new characters, maps, and boards.
The game does a good job of simulating real skateboarding movements. You can do advanced tricks like slides, grinds, grabs, ollies, and flips. There is a meter that helps you do these tricks. When you are on a slope or a rail, a meter appears on the screen. You have to press a button to do the trick. If you make a mistake, your character falls, and sometimes they cannot get up. You can play around with the tricks like changing direction in the air or switching from an ollie to a flip. It is not easy. You might fail a lot. If you succeed, you get a lot of bonuses.
Tony Hawks Pro Skater 2 has modes, including Career mode, Simple Session, Multiplayer, Level Editor, and Free Skate. Each mode has its goals and rules. You might have to get a score,e collect letters to spell “K, E”, collect medals and beat other players, or finish a level quickly. The maps are always changing,nging so you will not get bored. You can skate in New York, Philly, or even Venice.
