Game Description :
The main gameplay of the series is based on its tagline “Play, Create, Share”. The Play part is where players control Sackboy and help him to navigate through the different levels. The first two episodes of the series featured mostly the usual platforming maneuvers, such as jumping and running around to get to the end of a level and earn points. Since LittleBigPlanet 2, gameplay has expanded to being a “platform for games” with the introduction of numerous mini-games and other genres into the game, diversifying the game from being strictly a traditional platforming game. Most of the games in LittleBigPlanet are single-player or multiplayer, and take the form of a player playing through a level while picking up several “prize bubbles” throughout the course. These prize bubbles come in two types: small ones, which constitute points, and larger ones that contain new costumes, stickers, or other types of collectibles that can be used to customise Sackboy or in level creation. Also, there are many co-op sections where some,e.g., prize bubbles, can only be collected if more than one player is involved or more layers, as stated in the section of the level.
