Game Description :
In this version of Sonic Unleashed ROM, Eggman can defeat Sonic by taking advantage of the vast power that the Chaos Emeralds can give him to capture Sonic. The onslaught had left the planet’s surface a shattered mess and had also unleashed the shadowy and enigmatic Dark Gaia from within its depths. Eggman then leaves Sonic and the now vacant Chaos Emeralds on the wrecked planet. The broken earth is left for Sonic to enjoy. Now it’s up to Sonic to save the world, bring back the awesome Dark Gaia, and finally defeat Eggman for good and all and restore the Chaos Emeralds that were turned to ash.
The game features a daytime and nighttime mode, focusing on Sonic’s overdrive speed and battle mode, respectively. As a side effect of his attack from the Chaos Emerald, Sonic can morph into a formidable, but incredibly scary, Werehog creature during the nighttime phase. PlayStation 2 and Wii game versions feature a different game engine and a level selection that’s virtually unrecognizable from the original.
