Hello. It’s here, Advance Wars Story. It is a good mix of reasons, but my primary one is that I had a story I wanted to turn into an actual game. I also made a ton of changes to both COs and Units, and they seem logical to me.
- 2023-08-13: Version 1.82 now released. Bug fixes: fixes for typos and tile errors, some map fixes, flipping the screen before the map, before the characters start talking and hiding who your next CO to face is in an intelligent way (not glitchy).
- 2024-06-03: Version 1.83. Fixed a thing. Oh, I forgot to update the string that says which version you’re playing. Oh, well.
- 2024-06-09: Version 1.84. Fixed the string. Fixed some typos. Fixed infantry getting 9 move(????) somehow.
Features:
- A fully custom and complete campaign with 34 missions, with custom dialogue, scenarios, maps and events, telling its own story.

- This is a sequel to Advanced Wars 2, with the idea of providing a more satisfying “conclusion” than the previous game. I haven’t played War Room or Hard Campaign, and I don’t know what happens if you do play Hard Campaign. I have not touched the AI, so if you are thinking that it is going to be any cleverer, it probably will be somehow dumber than normal.
