Game Description :
Hey! Pikmin will narrate its story to its players, explaining how a spaceship arrives at the scene, crashes, and loses all its fuel. The pilot finds some strange animals and seeds around. This is the source of the ship’s energy as well. These seeds are what the pilot must have to get out of this peculiar location. The game follows a 3D strategy game but flips to a side-scrolling 2.5 D format. But still keeps the puzzle elements throughout the adventure. Small creatures with special powers are to be found and commanded in nature. These critters can overcome a lot of challenges. The controls are button and touch-screen-activated. The gameplay is therefore different and exciting. All creatures have their own abilities in various scenarios. The pilot will take damage if touching an enemy or being struck by bullets. However, the green bars indicate the remaining health clearly.
Features:
- The 3DS Circle Pad will be used to control Olimar and the touch-screen to whistle at Pikmin, use the jetpack, and throw Pikmin to hard-to-reach areas to solve puzzles.
- Dual-Screen Integration: Levels on both screens at the same time are shown as a long vertical bar. This is a challenge for the players to be aware of overhead paths and secrets.
- Classic & Specialized Types: You’ll see Red, Yellow, Blue, o,w, and Purple Pikmin, Rock and Winged Pikmin.
- Tactical Pikmin: Match the correct Pikmin to the environment: Yellow Pikmin, for electricity; Rock Pikmin, for smashing crystals; Winged Pikmin, for bridging gaps and carrying Olimar.
- After levels are cleared, Pikmin are recruited and sent to Pikmin Park while idle.
- Expeditions: Groups of idle Pikmin can be sent in any part of the park to scavenge for additional Sparklium and find hidden treasures.
