Game Description :
This hack takes the viewpoint of Juste Belmont’s friend and opponent, Maxim Kischine. The initial linear plot of the game is the same as the original, except that Maxim has a tale to tell and Juste has a minor role to play. The original game, however, can still be played with Juste as an extra character, as Maxim was originally. Some of the pieces have been adjusted to accommodate Maxim, rather than Juste. Similarly, Maxim lacks access to some things that Juste usually has. For example, the only sub-weapons Maxim can utilize are the knife, axe, and shuriken.
And, again,n as in the original, these acquire magical qualities when combined with Spell Books. There are two patches for this hack. The former features the new narrative with the old palettes of it all. This is added to enable the Castlevania purist who would want to feel a canonical feel of the hack. The latter and better patch utilizes features with a lot more palette transitions that render the game itself much more detailed and appropriate. This version even eliminates the outlinesof thee main characters and makes them not so clear.
