Game Description :
It was the early 1900s, and a sinister shadow was cast over a small rural American town. A young husband and wife disappeared from their home. His name was George, her name was Maria. Two years late,r George reappeared. He never told anyone about his adventures. Rather, he lived alone,ne and he began a strange study, on his own. His wife never returned. It has been 80 years since then. One day in a small town, a young boy and his parents, who had two sisters, felt something was wrong: their house was possessed by a poltergeist. Objects begin to attack the family. The child’s father asks him to speak with his grandfather and learn how to use his psychic abilities to find out the secret of the strange poltergeist.
During his adventure, the boy encounters three other kids: a shy girl who lives with her mother, a young intellectual not accepted by his peers, and a young boy who joined a gang in search of revenge. The four adventurers will travel around and discover the link between the recent strange events and the past. Earthbound Beginnings is a modern-day Japanese-style RPG. The battle system is similar to Dragon Warrior: the characters of the player-controlled party will meet random monsters and bosses, and fight them using turn-based combat from the first-person perspective. The characters are able to use psychic powers (PSI) instead of magic.
